This list is from Dr. James Fulton MD Ph.D. of Dermatology. He is
world-renowned in the field of acne research and was one of the
researchers and creators of Retina A. This list of typical skin care
product ingredients has been categorized 0 to 5. 0 means the ingredient
will not clog your pores at all. 5 means the ingredient is very
clogging to your pores. When skin care products list ingredients on the
container they are listed in order of relative amount. That is; that
the first ingredient listed is the most of in the product, the second
listed ingredient is the second most used ingredient in the product and
so the last ingredientlisted there is the least of in the product. Keep
in mind if a #3 ingredient is the sixth listed in your product you may
not clog from it, but if it is the first or second listed ingredient
you may clog up and or break out from use of that product.
